Summerconcerts 2023
From Monday, June 4, 2023 to September 11, 2023, you can enjoy a concert on the carillon of the St. Rombouts tower every Monday evening at 8:30 p.m. The place to listen is again the Cultural Square (Cultuurplein, Minderbroersgang). Visitors can enjoy a one-hour concert and watch the carillonneur at work on screen.
Also from the Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-over-de-Dijle church there will be 2 concerts, on Sunday September 3 and Sunday September 10, both at 16.30 hrs. On Sunday, September 3, Twan Bearda will play and on Sunday, September 11, it will be DIna Verheyden's turn.
The evening concerts became a tradition thanks to Jef Denyn, the founder of the Royal Carillon School of Mechelen.
